Interview with Tom and Jessica
JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Tom: never in the tents except those in full custody
but i am sure at Joe Arpaios orders the guards
would always find a reason to cancel all
visitation for something or another
Jessica: 2 30 min visits from county residents per week.
JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Tom: some wives would wait in line for two or three
hours for a thirty minute visit to be told the
tents were on lockdown and no further
explanation given and lost visitation never
restored
Jessica: unk
JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Tom: a room with about 20 booths with guards in every
corner and some walking the floor, and never
allowed to touch even arm or hand without
reprisals

Can a convicted felon visit an inmate in country jail in the state of Arizona??

If U have previously been booked at that facility in the last 12 months U cant visit... Or if U have any felonies or an illegal alien U cant visit.

I was booked and released downtown last May, and the charge was dismissed. But I can't visit someone in Durango.

I'd been visiting my boyfriend @ Lower Buckeye for over 4 months, so I'm adroit w/ the Dress Code. Ironically enough, last Sunday, July 4th when we American's are celebrating our freedoms, I was "Banned" from visitation for 30 days. The dress code does NOT allow tank tops, and requires that breasts and cleavage to be covered. I had on 2 tank tops with a large, long sleeved snap front shirt.The code notes that "sweaters must be BUTTONED up", however, my shirt had snaps, not buttons. The DO told me I had to close it all the way up. During my visit, I had a hot-flash b/c I'm undergoing Chemo

I need to know the rules on visitation. Can I bring an inmates 5 weeek old baby to see his mother?

Why is it that you can NOT visit an inmate that is in the work release program in tent city??? What purpose does that serve??? When I questioned this, the answer I got was "its policy". Where can I get a copy of these policies??

I went to see my boyfriend at 4th ave and wasn't notified that he was in lockdown until I was at the monitor... what a wasted trip.

What do you expect, the Sheraton? Give us a break, don't hurt the elderly, rape oue young, steal from honest hardworking people and you won't wind up in the tents! When you get what you deserve don't whine SUCK IT UP!!!! |

you are an idiot... the next time you have a thought PLEASE KEEP IT TO YOURSELF... and the next time you get a ticket i hope your "hard work" hasn't paid off.. that you've been laid off and cannot afford your child support/alimony/speeding ticket etc (that's what people are in the tents for JUST SO YOU'RE AWARE)and while your family/friends are trying to visit you i hope they are hassled and treated like criminals/second rate citizens while you eat rotten food/get severe sunburns/are stung mercilessly by scorpions then you and everyone unfortunate enough to have known such a stupid narrow minded individual such as yourself can SUCK IT UP... dumba$$
